Who is NuLake?

NuLake is a New Zealand owned publishing business that specialises in quality New Zealand mathematics books for upper primary and secondary school pupils. Book production is done locally, and all marketing, sales and accounts are in-house, with dispatch from a Distribution Centre in Wellington, New Zealand.

What books does NuLake sell?

NuLake sells Mathematics Workbooks for Years 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 and Mathematics Homework Books for Years 8, 9, 10. All our titles are available online under the applicable link available via the home page. In addition we are stockists of some models of Texas Instruments.

Where can I find NuLake books?

All titles are sold directly to schools, or available in all good bookshops and are sold directly to students and parents through this website.

What are the NuLake eFlip Books?

NuLake eFlip books can be viewed on all desktop computers, laptops, Chromebooks or any mobile device.  The eFlip books have links from the questions to the answers and vice versa as well as the ability to add bookmarks and annotations to the text.  In many of the explanation sections of our eFlip Books links are included to YouTube video lessons. They can be purchased directly from the website and after payment (within ONE business day) you will receive a secure link to the eFlip book with authorisation being your email address.

What are NuLake Workbooks, Homework Books and EAS and IAS Series?

The Year 13 EAS and IAS Series covers Year 13 Mathematics and Statistics at NCEA 3. It comprises two Workbooks one for Calculus covering the three External Achievement Standards and one for Statistics also covering the three External Achievement Standards as well as nine single IAS Booklets covering the Internal Achievement Standards.

The Year 12 EAS and IAS Series covers Year 12 Mathematics at NCEA 2. It comprises a 200 page Workbook covering the three External Achievement Standards as well as eleven single IAS Booklets covering the Internal Achievement Standards.

Our Year 11 Mathematics Course Book - NCEA 1 - Level 6 comprises 416 pages and is designed for students studying the FOUR Achievement Standards for NCEA 1 or for students studying a combination of Achievement Standards and other Level 6 work, or for students studying an alternative Year 11 work entirely,

Our EAS and IAS series and Year 11 Course Book are New Zealand's most up to date mathematics series for NCEA 1, 2 and 3, being revised and modified as soon as changes are made to the NCEA curriculum. The editions cover all Achievement Standards (internal and external). NuLake Homework Books are A4 in size and of approximately 150 pages. They are designed to cover the New Zealand curriculum for the applicable year by providing worked examples (Year 8 to Year 10) as well as straightforward reinforcement problems. One page is allocated per concept and in addition application and practical problems are also included.
